Thinking of getting any of those external USB monitor for laptop? Well, hold on a second. If you’re not in a hurry, I suggest you to wait until this ThinkPad W700ds laptop from Lenovo come to a store near you. Why? Because this wonderful 17-inch notebook comes with a SECONDARY 10.2-inch LED screen on its right side. Cool, isn’t it?

For 756,000 Yen (about $7,724 USD), you’d get the first laptop in the world with two built-in monitor, along with either an Intel Core 2 Extreme or Core 2 Quad processor, an 8GB of main memory, a 980GB of hard drive, an nVidia Quadro FX 3700M graphics engine, and a battery life that lasts for about 2 hours.

Mouse Computer of Japan recently unveiled its latest powerful gaming machine, the NextGear-Note M750W-WS Series laptop. Powered by either Windows XP or Windows Vista operating system, this notebook boasts a wide 17-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display, a Blu-Ray drive, a 1GB nVidia GeForce 9800M GTX graphics engine, and a 2GB of Turbo Memory (Vista edition only). You can choose between two sets of configuration. The cheapest one, retailed for 330,000 Yen (around US $3600), comes with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 processor, a 4GB of DDR3 PC3-8500 main memory, and a 120GB of OCZ Apex Series SSD; while the higher model sports an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 CPU, a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 250GB of OCZ Apex Series SSD. The latter costs you 420,000 Yen or around $4,600.

Good news for hardcore gamers. Japan-based manufacturer Tsukumo has just released two monster gaming desktop PCs, the Gamer GB30J Premium and Gamer GB30A Premium. Priced at $2,786 and $1,857 respectively, both machines come with the best specs you can imagine nowadys, which include a quad-core processor, a 10,000rpm HDD, and a 1GB graphics engine. Wow!

Let’s start with the Gamer GB30J Premium first. Powered by a 2.86GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 processor, it sports an Intel P45 Express + ICH10R chipset, a 4GB of main memory, a 1GB nVidia GeForce 280 GTX graphics engine, a 300GB of 10,000rpm hard drive, a dual-layer DVD burner, and a pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium OS.

Regarding its cousin, the Gamer GB30A Premium desktop PC, it uses AMD’s 2.40GHz Phenom X4 9750 processor as its engine, supported by AMD 780G + SB700 chipset, a 4GB of RAM, and a 512MB ATI Radeon HD 4870 video card. The rest of the specs are the same as GB30J model.

“Black-Hawk XR5″ laptop is the latest ultimage gaming/workstation machine from PC MicroWorks. This 17-inch monster boasts a quad-core processor from Intel, combined with two powerful GeForce 8800M GTX graphics engines in SLI mode, providing superb perfomance, at a not so affordable price. For $3,798, you’d get a notebook with a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700, two 512MB GeForce Go 8800M GTX cards (which should be the most powerful graphics brain for mobile computer with supports for DirextX 10 technology), a 2GB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 4GB), Windows Vista Home Premium OS, and up to three 300GB SATA HDD in RAID mode. The display itself has a widescreen resolution of 1920×1200.

PC MicroWorks has began taking pre-order for XR5 laptop, however, you’d have to wait ’til December for this notebook to come at your door. Also note that if quad core CPU is too expensive for your budget, you could opt-in for either Core 2 Extreme or Core 2 Duo processors.

Priced slightly less than 2000 EUR, TwoTop’s ViP Note-LX Q6624/DVR/87M laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 (2.40GHz) processor, a 512MB nVidia GeForce 8700M GT graphics engine, a 2GB of DDR2-667 main memory, and three RAID-mounted HDD. Moreover, it is equipped with a 17-inch LCD display with 1920×1200 (WUXGA) resolution, as well as WiFI connectivity. Despite its hard-to-remember model name, this notebook is quite impressive. Perfect for gaming and multimedia purpose I believe.

Another new product announced by HP during its press event for new consumer product launch in Singapore, the Pavilion Elite m9000 Desktop PC. This high-end computer is packed with high-end technology, including Intel Core 2 Quad processor, Blue-Laser combo drive capable of playing both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD media, and built-in WiFI connectivity. Moreover, with pre-installed Windows Vista Ultimate operating system, it also offers an nVidia graphics engine, a 15-in-1 digital media reader, support for HP personal and pocket media drive, and ability to schedule automatic or instant disc backup via the provided HP Easy Backup button.

Along with Pavilion Elite m9000 Desktop PC, HP also announced the release of Pavilion dv2600 laptop and iPaq 312 Travel Companion.

Samsung recently introduced the MagicStation BP60 Desktop PC in Korea market. Planned to hit the market in January next year with a price tag of 2,200,000 KRW, the PC is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor, an nVidia GeForce 7650 graphics engine with 512MB of VRAM, a 1GB of DDR2 main memory, and a 320GB of SATA2 hard drive. It is also equipped with a 7.1-channel audio system, along with pre-installed software solutions, such as ‘Easy speed up manager’, and ‘Easy partition manager’.
