Remember the Hello Kitty graphic tablet? Well, Wacom, the famous graphic tablet and interactive pen display manufacturer behind the cute Kitty drawing pad, has just released another special edition product, the Favo Comic Pack. This package, empowered users to create digital manga illustrations, includes the white Graphire4 A6 pen tablet, Manga Studio Debut 3.0 and Corel Painter Essentials 2 software. It will be available as a limited edtion, but no detail about the number of unit produced.

Wacom Graphire4 A6 graphic tablet itself features a resolution of 2,000 dpi, a wireless battery-free pen with eraser, and 512 levels of pressure sensitivity.

As reported by Cellular-News, Verizon Wireless has inked a deal with FunMail to offer Dilbert cartoons on Verizon handsets. Each day, Daily Dilbert delivers a popular Dilbert comic strip directly to the phones of Verizon Wireless Mobile Web 2.0 customers, giving Dilbert comic fans their daily dose of Dilbert.

Dilbert is a popular American comic strip. Written and drawn by Scott Adams, the comic is known for its heavily satirical humor about a micromanaged office, featuring an engineer as the title character. The strip has run in newspapers since April 16, 1989, spawning several books, an animated television series, a computer game, and hundreds of Dilbert-themed merchandise items. [ source ]

How To Create Your Own Strip Comic Online Using OpenRMCS

The OpenRMCS (Red Meat Comic Strip) is a web comic that anyone can write for. Or you can say, it’s a free comic strip generator. Just select the character, enter the message, and you’re comic strip is ready. Look below for sample comic generated by OpenRMCS:

Now let’s try to create your own comic strip.

First, go to OpenRMCS site and click on Create-A-Comic. You’ll see the following screen:
On the TagLine, enter your strip title.
From the two dropdown menu, select the characters you want to involve in your comic strip. You can even choose nobody which will create the effect of hidden character or the other character talks to himself. There are over 25 characters you can choose.
Next, on the Cell1 textbox, enter what you want the characters to say. If you want him/her to say nothing, just let the box empty. Do the same for the other two textboxes, Cell2 and Cell3.
Click on Preview. Your first comic strip will be generated. You can Save it if you want, and the strip will be listed on the main page so anyone can read it. Here’s another sampe that I’ve made while I wrote this tutorial (and no, it’s not funny at all):
Note that if you want to save the generated comic, you have to capture the screen with any screen capture software (i’m using SnagIt).

That’s it. I’m sure your sense of humour is much better than me, thus you can create a better and funnier strip than my stupid one above
