Ready to play game? Well, with any of these three new monster gaming laptops from MSI (GX400, GX630, and GT735), you’ll be ready to play your favourite PC games anytime, anywhere. Let’s start checking the MSI GX400 notebook first. This 14.1-inch Centrino 2-based machine is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and an nVidia GeForce 9600M GT graphics engine. It also boasts a 4GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 500GB of HDD, a DVD burner (or Blu-Ray drive), an integrated webcam module, and a HDMI output.

MSI GX630 laptop comes with almost similar specs than GX400 series. Except that it has a bigger display, 15.4-inch in dimension. The rest are the same, including CPU, video cards, memory, etc.

As for MSI GT735 gaming laptop (picture above), it sports a 17-inch display, an AMD Turion X2 Ultra processor (based on AMD Puma technology), and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3850 graphics engine.

Other features found on those notebooks include an Intel Turbo Drive Engine technology — enables users to increase the speed of the CPU when the laptop is in AC mode by pushing the turbo button — and ECHO Engine power management function — enables switching among 5 different operation modes – Gaming mode, Movie mode, Presentation mode, Office mode, and power saving Turbo Battery mode.

Unfortunately, no single words on pricing and availability from the company.

Another news from Samsung’s IFA 2008’s booth — the X360 laptop. With no connection to Xbox 360 (which is also shortcutted as X360), this 13.3-inch notebook PC is powered by an Intel Centrino 2 ULV processor, a 1GB DDR3 main memory (up to 4GB supported), and either a 64GB/128GB SSD or 120GB of 5,400rpm SATA HDD. It comes with a WXGA (1280×800) display, along with HDMI port, 3 x USB ports, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, an integrated 1.3MP webcam module, a 7-in-1 media card reader, and WiFI support.

Weighs 1.27kg, Samsung X360 laptop lasts for up to 10 hours of usage (per full battery charge) and is compatible with Samsung’s P-dock. Unfortunately, no words on pricing or availability.

Another Montevina-based tablet PC from Fujitsu. This one is the Lifebook T1010 series. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics engine, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 250GB of HDD. The touchscreen display has 13.3-inch size and a resolution of 1280×800. There’s a DVD burner if you need to move your important data, as well as an integrated 1.3MP webcam for video conference purpose. Moreover, an optional Turbo Memory 2.0 module is available if the laptop needs more speed.

Other features include a WiFI draft-n support, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, an integrated 56K modem, Bluetooth, 3 x USB ports, a PC Card slot, media card reader, Windows Vista OS, and VGA output. Weighs 5.3 pounds, Lifebook T1010 offers up to 3 hours and 45 minutes of battery life, thanks to its six-cell battery.

Fujitsu Lifebook T1010 Tablet PC is available now through the Fujitsu website and starts at $1,299 (after $50 mail-in rebate).

Fujitsu’s compact tablet PC is already on my shopping list since two years ago, but when the time arrived to buy a new laptop, my savings always wasn’t enough to buy the one from Fujitsu. Pity. I really hope this year I’ll finally able to purchase any Fujitsu Lifebook series tablet PC. This Centrino 2-based Lifebook T5010 for example.

Comes with a 13.3-inch (1280×800) touchscreen display, the convertible laptop features a digital pen input support, an Intel GMA 4500HD integrated graphics engine, up to 4GB of DDR3 main memory, up to 250GB of hard drive, a built-in optical drive, an optional Intel Turbo Memory 2.0 module, and an optional built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam module. Obviously, the machine is packed with the latest powerful Core 2 Duo processor.

Now when it comes to connectivity, Lifebook T5010 offers a 802.11n WiFi, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an integrated 56K modem, and Bluetooth. The 4.9-pounds device is also equipped with three USB ports, a PC Card slot, Secure Digital slot, Memory Stick/SD Card reader, Firewire port, and VGA output, as well as fingerprint reader and the Trusted Platform Module 1.2.

Other features include a six-cell battery with up to 3 hours and 45 minutes of juice and Windows Vista operating system. If interested, Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 convertible notebook is available now through Fujitsu Online Store with a retail price starting from $1,769.

Another new Centrino 2-based sub-laptop hits the Japan market. Coming from MSI, this one is called MSI PR201. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an Intel GM45 Express chipset, and a 4GB of main memory. Sounds powerful, huh? But wait, to feed your connectivity hunger, the notebook is equipped with a Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, USB slot, and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFI. Last but not least, PR201 comes with a 250GB of HDD, a DVD Multi burner, an integrated 2 megapixel webcam module, a 12.1-inch (1280×800) display, and a HDMI out port.

Weighs 1.8kg, MSI PR201 laptop is retailed for around €1,000.

… are awesome. All landed to the Korea market, the three notebooks are Satellite A300 Black Label II, Satellite A300, and Portege M800. With price respectively set at 1,790,000 Won (about $1,705), 1,490,000 Won (about $1,419), and 1,590,000 Won (about $1,515), they are all powered by the new Intel Centrino 2 platform — the 2.53Ghz Core 2 Duo T9400 for Black Label II and the 2.26Ghz Core 2 Duo P8400 for Portege M800. Gorgeous, aren’t they?

Onto the detail, Toshiba Satellite A300 Black Label II laptop features a 15.4-inch display, a 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM, an ATI Radeon HD3650 graphics engine, a 320GB of hard disk (2 x 160GB), a DVD SuperMulti burner, Bluetooth, and Wireless LAN connectivity. As for the white pearl Portege M800, it sports a 13.3-inch display, a 2GB of main memory, an Intel X4500 HD graphics engine, a 250GB of HDD, a 9-in-1 media card reader, a DVD SuperMulti burner, Bluetooth, and Wireless LAN.

Couple days ago, together with Prime Note Galleria MV, the Japan manufacturer Dospara unleashed a new Centrino 2-ready laptop, Prime Note Galleria MT. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU, a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB of hard drive, and a 256MB nVidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics engine. Moreover, the notebook is equipped with a 14.1-inch widescreen display with WXGA (1280×800) resolution, a DVD SuperMulti burner, and WiFI connectivity.

Dospara Prime Note Galleria MV laptop is scheduled to hit the store in early August with a price tag of €700 or about $1,106.

Another new Centino 2-based notebook PC from Samsung is coming to Korea market. The 13.3-inch SENS Q310, with its crystal black finish and red eclipse design, sports a 2.53Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 CPU, a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB of HDD, and an nVidia GeForce 9200M GS graphics engine. It is also equipped with a SuperMulti DVD burner, a built-in webcam, microphone, HDMI port, WiFI, and Windows Vista Home Premium OS.

Samsung Electronics has just announced the new SENS R710 laptop in Korea, featuring an impressive crystal black finish and red eclipse design. On the hardware department, this 17-inch Montevina-based notebook boasts a 2.53Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 processor, a 2GB of DDR3 main memory, a Mobile Intel PM45 Express chipset, a 160GB of hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, an nVidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics card, and finally, an Intel WiFI Link 5300 wireless connectivity. Regarding software, it comes pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

It runs on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and comes under a nice black-colored hood with ‘Sunrise Gradation’ pattern.
