Another news from Fujitsu for today. The company has just announced that “TEO”, it’s seried media center desktop PC, will now be equipped with Blu-Ray reader drive as well. Other configuration for this high-end TEO90Y/D PC are HDMI support, a 500GB of hard drive, an ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics engine, a 2GB of main memory, and a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo T5500 processor. It should be available immediately, but no words on pricing unfortunately.

HP Korea recently launched “Pavilion SlimLine s3000″ Media Center PC in Korea market. Runs on Windows Vista Home Premium Edition operating system, the black and silver-colored computer is powered by an Intel Pentium E2140 (1.6GHz) processor, a 1GB of main memory, a 160GB of 7,200rpm SATA hard drive, and an nVidia GeForce 7300LE graphics engine. Moreover, it is equipped with SuperMulti DVD Burner and features an intuitive user interface and ergonomic design. No words on pricing though.

IQ770 is the latest AMD-based Media Center PC (MCPC) from HP. Powered by the Turion 64 X2 TL-52 CPU, it is equipped with a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 320GB of hard drive, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, and a LightScribe DVD burner. Its 19-inch touchscreen LCD display is supported by an nVidia GeForce Go 7600 graphics engine and thanks to the ATSC HDTV tuner, users can enjoy their favourite TV programme on an impressive HD resolution.

HP’s IQ770 Media Center PC boasts a new widget-like dashboard interface and several new functions, such as HP SmartCalendard which serves as a central point for virtual fridge notes and shared family calendars, as well as Photosmart Touch, a new image editing and printing interface. This PC will be available in the first quarter of 2007 and the suggesting retail price is around $1799 – $1899.

Asus has finally decided to enter the media center PC market. Its debut is the impressive Asteio D22 PC which armed with high-end configuration. To begin with, it is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 processor, a 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a huge 250GB of SATA HDD. Regarding multimedia, the media center PC is equipped with a dual TV tuners, a 7.1-channel surround sound system, and an nVidia GeForce 7600 GS graphics engine. Not to mention the integrated microphone, stereo output, 1080p-ready HDMI content, S-Video and DVI ports. Wide range of connectivity options are also supported, including FireWire, USB 2.0, Blueooth, WiFI, and Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Furthermore, Asteio D22 offers a 16x dual-layered DVD burner, 13-in-1 media card reader, wireless keyboard, and touchpad as well.

Asus is going to ship the Asteio D22 Media Center PC by the end of this month. It will carry a price tag of $3,000.

Let’s take a break from MSI and check out this XPC M2000 Media Center PC from Shuttle. This ViiV-ready PC is powered by Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83GHz) processor, 512MB of DDR2-533 RAM, nVidia GeForce 7600GS graphics engine with 256MB of VRAM, 4x DVD Dual Drive, and 250GB of SATA2 HDD. A 7.1-channel Realtek audio system is provided for your ears, while for connecting with other devices, you’ll have the options between 802.11b/g WiFI, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and card reader. Looks good, but unfortunately, for HD-freaks, you’ll be dissapointed since no HDMI support included on this Media Center PC.

Other features include wireless keyboard, trackball mouse, VGA and DVI output, component video, S/PDIF, and S-video connector. Measures 17.5 x 14 x 3.5 inches, XPC Media Center PC includes dual NTSC TV tuners as well. No detail about price and availability yet.

Get ready for a bunch of PC and laptops from MSI, featured at the Computex 2006 event at Tapei. Let’s start with the AMD-powered MS-6421 Media Center PC or dubbed as the Media Live. This PC features AMD’s Athlon64 processor (Athlon64 FX version also available), up to 2GB of dual channel DDR2 RAM, nVidia GeForce 6150 graphics card, nForce 430 chipset, and 7.1 channel high-definition audio system. On its back panel, this media center PC offers a complete I/O solution, including two PS/2 connectors, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, VGA, DVI, S-Video, four USB 2.0 ports, three RGB component out, two SCART connectors, and much more. Sounds good, but no detail on price and availability yet, so you have to hold your purse for a while until I get some more information on MSI’s Media Live PC.

Once connected, you can view picture and music files that are stored on any computer that is running Microsoft Windows Media Connect software. Also, if your PC runs Windows Media Center Edition, you can also watch, pause, replay, and record live TV shows, watch recorded TV shows, and watch home videos. Pretty impressive, huh?

Above all, the first thing you should do to connect your XBox 360 console to your PC is download the XBox 360 connectivity software from Microsoft website. Once installed, follow the next steps below, depend on your Windows version.

Connect XBox 360 to a Windows XP-based computer that is running Windows Media Connect

After you download and run the setup package from the Web site, the installation program will automatically configure and authorize the Xbox 360 console. You can reconnect the Xbox 360 console if you have to, or you can connect an additional Xbox 360 console to a Windows XP-based computer. To do this, follow these steps.

1. On the Xbox 360 console in the Xbox Guide, open the Media section, and then select either Music or Pictures.
2. Select Computers to connect to your Windows-based computer.
3. You are prompted to install the Windows Media Connect software on the Windows XP-based computer. If you have not done so, review the information in the Download connectivity software section. If you have installed the software, select Yes, Continue to continue with the connection.
4. Select the Windows-based computer for the Xbox 360 console to connect to, and then press A to complete the connection.
5. On the Windows XP-based computer, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
6. Click Windows Media Connect or click Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices, and then click Windows Media Connect.
7. Click Devices, and then click to select the Xbox 360 that you are trying to connect.
8. If the Xbox 360 console shows Denied in red, click Allow to authorize the Xbox 360 console.

Connect to a computer that is running Windows XP Media Center Edition

After you download and then run the setup package as described in the “Download connectivity software” section, the installation program will automatically configure the Xbox 360 console. To reconnect the Xbox 360 console if you have to or to connect an additional Xbox 360 console to a Windows XP Media Center Edition-based computer that already has the Windows Media Center Extender software installed, follow these steps:

1. On the Xbox 360 console in the Xbox Guide, open the Media section, and then select Media Center.
2. If you have not installed the required software on the Windows Media Center Edition-based computer, review the information in the Download connectivity software section.
3. Write down the eight-digit setup key. This key will be used on the Windows Media Center Edition-based computer to complete the setup.
4. Open Xbox 360 Setup for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts. When you are prompted, enter the eight-digit setup key that you obtained in step 3.
6. After the Windows XP Media Center Edition-based computer has contacted and confirmed the setup, the setup will be finished.

Add or remove an Xbox 360 console connection from a Windows Media Center-based computer

After the setup files are downloaded to your computer, you can add or remove another Xbox 360 console to the home network by using the Media Center Extender Manager. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Windows Media Center-based computer, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Media Center, and then click Media Center Extender Manager.
2. On the File menu, click Add New Xbox 360.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
