This handset delivers your favourite TV programme directly on your phone’s 2.8-inch screen, thanks to its built-in analog TV receiver. Moreover, it has an integrated FM radio tuner, so you won’t get bored if you can’t catch those TV signals. But wait, the list is not over yet. T300 also comes with over 2000 pre-loaded games and a fingerprint reader which secures information and prevents access by unauthorized users. Cool.

According to Mr. Wu Zhi Yang, Chairman of QXM, “We are quite excited about this new handset introduction.Since a digital mobile TV standard has not yet been approved in China, there is no current market for mobile handsets that offer digital TV.Our new T300 model combines new and clearly differentiated features that we believe will be popular among consumers in China.Since the handset uses analog TV signals, it is not dependent on users being near a cellular network.We believe the phone will have many uses across a broad cross section of consumers in our domestic handset market, and we think there will be strong demand leading up to the Olympic Games this year.”

Qiao Xing Mobile Communication (QXM), one of China’s leading manufacturer, recently announced the latest member of its CECT series cell phone. The “CECT C3100″, priced at less than $68, the handset features a brigh flashlight powered by six LED, large letter display — helps those senior citizen to read text message clearly, 500 phone book’s contact, and up to 25 days standby time! According to Wu Zhi Yang, Chairman of QXM, this handset is the company’s first foray into the low-end market. It is expected to be the company’s top money-making product in 2008.

CECT presents Fuwa, a kids-targeted red-colored cell phone sporting Fuwa Huanhuan, the official mascot of 2008 Beijing Olympics. On the back side of the handset, there’s an Olympic rings picture. And inside the phone, several Olympic-related content are pre-loaded, such as wallpaper, ringtone, and screensavers. Furthermore, it comes bundled with Chinese Olympic athletes. Unfortunately, the phone will be available in China region only.

Specs-wise, CECT Fuwa cell phone features a 1.5-inch display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, media player, and expansion memory card slot (up to 256MB supported). No words on pricing at the moment.

CECT, a China-based company, offers two GSM-CDMA dual-mode cell phones, the T828 and D388 models. Let’s talk about the T828 first (picture above). Runs on dual-band GSM (900/1800) and single-band CDMA (800) networks, the handset features a 2.0-inch display, a 32MB of onboard memory with microSD/TransFlash media card slot for external storage option, built-in media player (MP3/MP4), GPRS, WAP, SMS/MMS, and a 1.3 megapixel camera module. It measures about 100 x 40 x 10 mm and provides up to 72 hours of standby time and up to 6 hours of talktime through a 110mAh Li-Ion battery.

CECT D388 Cell Phone ImagesAs for CECT D388 cell phone (picture on the left), it comes with almost similar specs than its sibling. The only difference, apart from the design, is the price. While CECT T828 is retailed for around $233, the D388 model costs a little bit higher, $298. Well, I don’t see the reason why I should purchase the expensive one though…

CECT, a China-based manufacturer, proposed its latest creation, the CECT K898 cell phone. This handset comes with a sliding form factor and sports a nice rotateable camera module. There’s also a secondary VGA camera for video telephony purpose (yes, it supports 3G connectivity). Unfortunately, that’s the only information I have at the moment, so stay tune for more detail once they become available.

It’s now just a matter of days until the release of iPhone from Apple. However, that doesn’t mean the attack of the clone will stop. Here’s the latest blow the tPhone (model:T718) from CECT. Not only that it comes with almost similar specs, this cell phone also has an “improvised” version of Apple logo. Now that’s what I call a rip off.

Not sure whether it’s correct or just a typo, but 900 hours battery’s standby time is super-duper-impressive. That’s more than a month incase you didn’t realize…. Oh, and regarding price, the phone costs around $200.

Vertu is a cell phone manufacturer which is popular for its expensive luxurious handset series. But finally, now everyone can afford to buy Vertu’s, thanks to the release of the new VEPTU series phone (model: CECT I-70). Eventhough it comes with a 24k gold back cover (well, actually, it’s a gold-colored metal) , the company promised that the phone won’t make your bank savings empty. And unlike most of Veptu’s handsets, this one is equipped with many ‘advanced’ features, such as 2.0 megapixel camera module, multimedia player (MP3, 3GP), and an expansion card slot. Moreover, its back cover also doubled as a mirror. Nice!

Vertu Veptu CECT I-70 cell phone is currently available in some Asia countries.
