Kenwood has started offering its K1000 CD Player and Pre-Amplifier) to the market. The compact CD Player (model number: DP-K1000-N), parts of Kenwood’s SUpreme EX range, comes with DPAC (Digital Pulse Axis Control) for excellent sound quality, along with supports for MP3, WMA, and AAC audio formats. The Pre-Amplifier (model number: R-K1000-N) has a build-in AM/FM radio tuner, Auto ROOM EQ, and dual speakers (2×50W @ 6Ω). DPAC is included as well. The price is set at 40,950 Yen for the player and 55,650 Yen for the pre-amp.

This car-shaped device features Lightning McQueen, the hero of Disney’s Cars. Its rear wheels act as a speaker (2×1W) and its roof perfectly hides the CD tray. It comes with build-in FM radio tuner as well, providing non-stop entertainment for the kids.

“DPX-U77 Supreme” is the latest creation from Kenwood. This car entertainment system provides a complete multimedia experience for you on the road. Denon recently presented DCD-CX3, its high-end HiFI Digital CD Player, during EYEAR Show 2070 event in Seoul, Korea. Measures 300 x 80 x 310mm and weighs 7.0kg, this device boasts an AL24 processing that supports playback of delicate nuances in the music. Regarding specs, it features a 2 channels sound, a frequency range of 2Hz ~ 100kHz, a frequency feaure of 2Hz ~ 50kHz (-3dB), a S/N rate of 112dB, a dynamic range of 109dB, and a power consumption of 22W. DCD-CX3 is already released in Korea market starting from late March with a price tag 1,570,000(KRW).

Thanks to this deal, now it can deliver even more interesting products! I-O Data has just upgraded DVRP, its external CD / DVD burner product, and add a new feature called LabelFlash. This function allows users to burn a text or a logo directly on the LabelFlash-compatible CD and DVD media. The burning speed rate has been increased as well — 4x for DL-DVD, 8x for DVD-R, 5x for DVD-RAM, and 24x for CD. DVRP External CD/DVD burner itself is using USB connection, therefore, no external power source is required.

FlashField unveiled the Print Factory II (or PF-2), a CD/DVD Inkjet Label Color Printer, during KES 2006. Measures 490 x 780 x 250mm and weighs 12kg, this printer uses USB 2.0 interface to connect with your PC and it supports various printing quality, including 4800dpi (15ppm), 2400dpi (30ppm), and 1200dpi (60ppm). There’s a CD tray on the back side of the machine, and you can store up to 100 CD/DVD disc there. Not sure about the price and availability of the PF-2 color printer, but one thing for sure, the retail package will be bundled with SureThing CD/DVD Label software.

Onkyo Japan has just announced a cool and stylish sound system called the CBX-Z1. Interestingly, this CD player features an excellence 8 cms wide speaker with Aero Acoustic Drive that promised high quality output. Measures 435 x 232 x 138 mm and weighs 4.3kg, it is equipped with a stereo mini input that allows users to connect other audio sources to the unit. Moreover, its amplifier delivers an output of 5Wx2ch and playback frequency of 50Hz – 20kHz.

Other remarkable feature of CBX-Z1 Sound System is its built-in iPod dock. One can simply placed their iPod to the dock and it will play the music stored inside. Playback functions, such as On / Off and Play / Pause, can be executed from the provided remote control. Unfortunately, apart from the iPod, it only supports standard audio CD.

According to the company, the CBX-Z1 Aero Sound System will hit the market starting from November 30th in Japan with a retail price between $335 to $420 (or 40,000 to 50,000 Yen).
