Canon officially announced the release date of its upcoming WUX10 LCD Projector. Coming to store in December, WUX10 adopted LCOS (Liquid Crystal On Silicon) technology that allows the projector to provide high-resolution images on the screen. It supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200, as well as 1080p video content. Furthermore, the projector also has an aspect ratio of 16:10, a contrast ratio of 1000:1. a brightness of 3,200 lumens, and AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System).

Priced at €11,300, Canon WUX10 projector is equipped with HDMI, two DVI-I ports, and an Analog RGB input.

Another new digital camera from Canon. It’s born under the same Powershot family as the previously mentioned E1 series, but unlike its sibling, this new 9MP Powershot SX110 IS falls under mid-range camera category. Priced at $299.99, the camera offers a 10x optical zoom with optical Image Stabilizer for sharp and clear photo result, a 3-inch display, a Face Detection and Motion Detection technologies, Easy Mode with Ful manual control for pros, and SD/SDHC/MMC media card slot.

Canon Powershot SX110 IS digital camera will hit the US store by the end of this month. However, if you live in Europe, you have to wait until next month to bring this baby home for €309.

Canon recently introduced the new member of its Powershot series digital camera, the Powershot E1. This entry-level camera offers a host of wonderful capabilities that would let even an amateur photographer looks like a pro. Features include a 10 megapixel CCD sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens, an Optical Image Stabilization, a Face Detection technology, Easy Mode function, and over 17 different shooting modes. It runs on AA batteries and available in three flavours: white, blue, and pink.

Canon Powershot E1 digital camera will be retailed in September with a price tag of $199.99.

A 3-in-1 USB mouse? Yes, that’s right, Canon has just unveiled its new creation, a 3-in-1 USB mouse (model numbre: LS-100TKM). Along with standard mouse capabilities, this “handy” peripheral also includes a calculator (complete with its LCD) and a numeric pad. The mouse’s optical sensor itself has 1000dpi. Not sure about the price, I don’t want to buy one anyway.

Canon recently announced the release of “iVIS FS10″, its latest 10.7 megapixel camcorder with dual flash memory support — an 8GB onboard flash drive and SDHC media card slot. Scheduled to hit the store in late April, the handycam sports a 48x Advanced zoom lens, a 2.7-inch widescreen LCD, and up to 5 hours of video recording. No words on pricing though.

Measures 108.7 x 46.7 x 71.4mm and weighs 265 grams, Canon’s Powershot SX100 IS digital camera sports an 8 megapixel CCD sensor, a 10x zoom (optical?, DIGIC III engine, up to ISO 1600 sensitivity, MJpeg videos support, and SDHC media card slot. The price is about €260.

For those photographic enthusiasts, having a good portable photo printer is a must. You don’t want to wait a long time ’til you can enjoy your snapped photo, right? Well, one of the good portable photo printers outthere is the SELPHY series from Canon. And here’s the newest one: “SELPHY CP740″. This compact handheld photo printer can print a 4 x 6-inch color photo directly from your digital camera or media card. It supports a wide-range of memory card format though, including CF, MD, MS / MS Duo / MS Pro / MS Pro Duo, SD, MMC / MMC Mobile / MMC Plus, miniSD, SDHC, miniSDHC, and RS-MMC. The list can be longer if you get an additional adapter which is available separately.

Other features include a 2-inch color LCD display, red-eye correction, and a host of direct printing options. Canon Selphy CP740 Portable Photo Printer is scheduled to hit the shelves in the next few months with a price tag of just $99.99. Quite affordable.

Like DC50, this one comes with a DVD burner as well, allowing you to directly record the movie onto a DVD media. Canon showcased DC50, its 5.0 megapixel digital camcorder, during Photo & Imaging 2007 event in Korea. Weighs at just 480grams, this recorder incorporates the company’s proprietary DIGIC DV engine and offers a 10x optical zoom lens along with a high-vision video recording. The recorded movie will be saved directly onto a DVD media. Sounds good!

Canon recently announced its latest digital camera, the S5. This 8 megapixel camera boasts a 12x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch swiveling colors LCD display, and high-quality VGA video recording capability. Users can control the lighting, thus making it possible to take a photo even in the most dimly-lit environment. Moreover, the digicam incorporated the company’s proprietary DIGIC III image processor as well as image stabilizer function that reduces the blurry effect of unstable camera position.

Canon S5 digital camera will hit the store in July with a price tag of around $500.
