It won’t cure your fetish for PC mouse, but at least you’d get more time with it. This interesting tool is developed by ONE TOUCH and can be found at Hong Kong Houseware Fair 2008 event.

Handsfree TrashCan

Heck, this is cool. Well, a little bit expensive, but it’s still cool anyway.. A trashcan that open its lid automatically whenever we want to throw something inside. If you still remember, it works like the Toilet MP3 – automatically open the cover when we get close to the toilet.

This handsfree trashcan saves your energy from opening the lid manually or stepping on the foot pedal. It uses infrared sensor to detect your hand movement. When your hand is about 6-inches from the lid, it will assume that you want to throw some trash, so it will automatically open up. Three seconds after you removed your hand away, the lid will close.

And to save you from being nuts when the infrared module goes bad, there are also control buttons to open / close the lid automatically. You can also turn off the automatic process from the power switch at the back of the trashcan.

Wine In A Can

The idea is simple – replace the bottle with a can. And that’s what Jens Andersson and Jonas Forsman have designed, the “Wine In A Can”. So instead the usual bottle of wine, we now have can of wine, thus making things much more simple and convenient. You don’t need to prepare additional wineglasses, you don’t have to use the bottle opener, and you don’t have to worry about the fragile bottle either. The can is totally made from aluminion, so you can drink the wine directly from the can like a glass. Furthermore, the aluminion material made it recycleable and eco-friendly too.

The Wine In A Can comes with interesting shape and color. According to the designer, the design is created to associate with wine bottle and create good opportunitues.

The contour line give associations to the wine bottle and create good opportunities. Through a restrained color scheme with matte black as the base color and the color of the wine as accents, a feeling of exclusivity which gives the wine justice, is created.

Now nothing can stop you from drinking your favourite wine.
