But Casio think it’d be a great idea to give some luxury to the handy compact calculating device, so there you go, a Swarovski Calculator priced at $275 a piece. Of course, it still can help you count those confusing numbers. But there’s more of it as it comes with both battery and solar panel, so you can still use it even when the battery run off.

5.5 Designers showcased a unique chocolate calculator during Tendence Lifestyle 207 event in Frankfurt, Germany. The product is called “Chocolator”, but I’m not sure whether it’s a chocolate with calculator design or a real-working calculator made of chocolate. Anyone know?

Its built behind a creative idea for combining a calculator with a cell phone, thus resulting a handy calculating machine with a cell phone-like keypad. The screen even display the current time. Brilliant.

Shake-U-Later Calculator

I once posted about a torch that is powered by a shake. It’s quite handy because you’ll get an unlimited power source. It implements Faraday’s Law of Induction and uses combination of kinetic energy and induction to transform the shakes into energy. Gadgets.Co.Uk is currently selling a calculator that uses the same principle. Named Shake-U-Later, you have to shake the calculator first before you can use it.

Every 25 shakes from side to side generates enough energy for 10 minutes of mathematical calculation. The calculator costs around $15.

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what Dance Dance Revolution is, I’m sure you all already know about it. But what about a DDR clone that run on TI (Texas Intruments) Graphing Calculator? Yeah, now you can play DDR anywhere. In the class, in the office, in the park, anywhere.

Named xLib xLib Revolution, the game is created by Kevin Ouellet. It make use of xLIB flash APP by Patrick Prendergast. The game includes a level editor that will allow infinite possibilities for the game. You can also have background images in songs or even animations. Not bad for a calculator game, right?

Casino + Calculator Haldheld Game

I don’t think people who spend their money in Las Vegas would even bother to bring a calculator. But casino and calculator probably would be a good combination, since you can calculate your earning / loss and figure out when to stop playing.

Anyway, this device looks like a normal business calculator. But if you flip it over, you’ll enter the Las Vegas’ casino! The handheld game will keep you entertained for hours, playing every strategy and trying your luck, but the calculator, with the build-in function to figure out your “winnings”, will practise your patience and teach you when to stop playing.

There are five different games you can play: Black Jack, Poker, Slot Machine, Baccarat, and Deuces Wild. The Casino + Calculator handhell game requires 2 “AA” batteries, which is, unfortenately, not included in the package. Retail price is $24.95.

Casio Introduces Wireless USB Solar Calculator

Casio introduces a unique wireless USB solar calculator. You probably think the same as I did before, why would a solar calculator has a wireless USB feature? Well, the wireless USB connection is used to control the 10 keys typepad on your keyboard. So for those who works with number a lot (for example: accountant, storekeeper, etc), this calculator is your friend.

The solar calculator, Casio MZ-120WL and Casio JZ-120WL model, uses USB dongle for the wireless connection. Another similar model, Casio MZ-20, connects directly via USB. The Casio JZ-120WL has more calculator features than others.

Casio Wireless USB Calculator will hit the store at the end of this month. Retail price between $45 and $63.

The xThink Calculator is able to track handwriting user input (just write the numbers and operations on the screen), translate them into the correct mathematical evaluation and automatically return the result. It works just like a whiteboard, but you don’t have to think the result yourself. This would be a perfect tool for tablet PC users and those with an external tablet.

xThink Calculator requires .NET framework to work.
