Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 Edition GPS

Check out Blaupunkt’s latest creation, the “TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 Edition”. This GPS navigation device comes with a unique unusual ellipse shape, making it looks more stylish. On the inside, the device is powered by a 400Mhz Centrality Atlas III Dual Core processor and an integrated TMC receiver that provides real-time traffic information. The GPS is loaded with UK/Ireland maps, along with major roads of Europe. You can view the maps on its anti-glare, high-contast 3.5-inch touchscreen display. Additionally, there are over 21 Western European countries maps included on bundled DVD.

Other features include a SD/SDHC/MMC media card reader, PIN security system for theft protection, visual speed limit display and warning, and error-tolerant input of city names.

[CES] Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 GPS Navigation

If you visit Blaupunkt’s booth at CES 2007, you might find its latest sat nav, TravelPilot Lucca 5.2. Pre-loaded with maps of entire U.S and Canada, the device offers smooth animated graphics in both 2D and 3D view mode, ability to plan multiple destination trips, and speed limit warnings. Later this year, users can also update the location of the speed camera from the internet.

Like many other GPS nowadays, Lucca 5.2 is equipped with some multimedia capabilities, including video and MP3 player, image viewer, and rear-view camera support. The cool thing, it can be connected to your car stereo through the provided car craddle.

Blaupunkt Lucca GPS Navigation System With MP3 Player

Recently we’ve posted about Sorell NF1, an MP3 Player device with GPS function. Now here goes TravelPilot Lucca from Blaupunkt, a GPS device with MP3 player capability. See the connection? Either way, you can use any of this device to listen to the music while finding your way home (incase you just moved to a new country and you don’t remember the way to your new apartment).

Blaupunkt is known as a famous in-car stereo system device manufacturer. You can watch one of their commercials movie here. Of course it’s not really suprising to know that they made something out of their ordinary products. We’ve seen many companies did that already. Eventhough not all of them are succeeded.

Back to the GPS unit. The Lucca features a MP3/WMA music centre, photo-viewer, and advanced 3D GPS navigation. Navigation software is pre-loaded onto the 512MB internal flash memory, with an integrated SD card slot so that dedicated navigation software for other European countries can be added. You can also playback your audio files directly from the SD card, as well as display your favorite photos. In addition, Blaupunkt’s SmartCradle, which comes as standard with the Lucca MP3, enables route guidance instructions and music files to be played through the vehicle’s audio system.

The Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca MP3 GPS is available at around £399.99 starting from December.
