BallFinder Scout – Another Golf Ball Finding Device

Already have your favourite sunglasses, and don’t want to replace it with the Visiball Glasses even for a second to look for your missing golf ball? Don’t worry, there’s another alternative gadget. To be honest, it’s cooler than that glasses too. Curious?

Well, I’m talking about the BallFinder Scout device. Works with any golf balls, this Scout will scan the area – whatever the condition of the terrain is – with its integrated digital camera in 600 square feet per second. Once at least 1% of your ball exposed, it will give an alert and you can continue swinging. The only rule is that your golf ball color should be white as it won’t read other colors, including these balls.

The BallFinder Scout is retailed for $260. Kinda pricey though. Maybe using that money to get a golf lesson and improve your skill is a wiser decision.

This exciting prank toy obviously looks like a real golf ball. It can operated using its joystick on the discrete remote control within 100′ range. The golf ball is powered by 1.2-volt NiMH rechargable battery, while the transmitter requires one 9V battery, and the recharger needs two AA batteries. Each single charge gives up to four hours of golf fun.

A quite interesting product from Shaper Image. The Visiball Golf Ball Finder is a glasses that will do what its name says, find a golf ball. It works by blocking the ambient colors, thus making your lost white golf ball stands out as if glowing under a black light. And how about a bonus lenses case that can be attached to the golf bag. Very unique and creative, I must say. And it seems other people have thought the same way as I am. If not, they would not have voted this shades as the Best New Product 2005 at PGA Merchandise Show.

Like me, you may not have enough money to buy the Toshiba’s Qosmio G30 laptop and enjoy the free ticket for the FIFA World Cup Soccer 2006 event. Colorful Golf Balls

HenkaQ has designed an interesting golf balls that change its color when exposed to the sunlight. From their base color white, the balls can turn into light blue, blue, yellow or purple color. These won’t help you score a hole-in-one or eagle, but at least they can cheer you up in time of double-boogie.

According to the company, the ball’s surface is treated with a photochromic compound similar to the one used in sunglasses that become darker in order to protect the eyes from UV rays. Their other golf ball product is the one with fluorescent, so you can keep practising golf even in the middle of the night.
