Puma platform combines the power of AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile processor with the impresive ATI Radeon HD 3000 Series graphics engine that offers superb 3D perfomance and HD image quality. In addition, there’s a built-in WiFI connectivity attached on this unnamed 13.3-inch (widescreen) laptop. Like its LaVieG Hello Kitty, this notebook PC comes with Ragnarok’s art on its front cover. Ragnarok itself is a popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) developed by a Korean game company named GRAVITY Co., Ltd. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2002 for Microsoft Windows and has since been released in many other locales around the world. Much of the game’s mythos is based on Norse mythology, but its style has been influenced by Christianity and various Asian cultures as well.

Regarding specs, the features are not as good as the game though. It is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-21 (1.6GHz) processor and an 80GB hard drive. The 15.4-inch display has a resolution of 1280×768 which is supported by an ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics engine.

Alienware Aurora 7500 and Aurora ALX Desktop PC is the world’s first computer system that take advantage of AMD Live! technology. As the rival of Intel ViiV entertainment platform, AMD Live! offers AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor, Windows XP Media Center Edition operating system, Blu-ray drive, and the ability to stream music and video to TV and mobile devices, as well as quickly synchronize media files with handheld devices and take your digital files with you on the go. In other words, with AMD Live! platform, you won’t need other multimedia devices to take care of your entertainment needs.

The price for Alienware Aurora 7500 Desktop PC starts at $2200, while Aurora ALX begins at $4,300 and an extra Quad SLI on the ALX system boosts the price up to $6000 for the standard configuration.

FiringSquad, the one who review this dual core processor, really has a detail review about this $1,031 priced processor. The FX-60 itself is claimed to be the fastest and most advanced AMD’s processor at the market. This 64-bit processor should deliver a smooth and realistic gaming experience, especially the one with the embedded “physics” technology.

Excerpt from the review:

Of course, it’s admirable that AMD is keeping both chips alive and giving enthusiasts a much-desired choice. Both the Athlon 64 FX-57 and Athlon 64 FX-60 continue to dominate the game tests, easily muscling past Intel’s most advanced effort. Given the last two high-end processor launches, it’s pretty clear that Intel will need its re-architected Conroe core before it will be able to hang with AMD at the high-end.
