Praxis N1212D is a compact 12.1-inch WXGA laptop from Airis, a Spanish-based computer manufacturer. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2GHz) processor, a 1GB of DDR2 main memory, a 160GB of 5,400rpm HDD, and an Intel GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) 950 graphics engine with up to 128MB of VRAM. It comes with a Panorama Glare-Type display with a resolution of 1280×800, as well as a dual-layer DVD burner, a 3-in-1 card reader, Express Card slot, Firewire, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, and WiFi connectivity. Weighs 1.9kg, the notebook is currently retailed for €1239.90.

As for Praxis N1217D laptop, it sports a 17-inch WXGA Panorama Glare-Type display, a numeric keypad, a 4-in-1 card reader, and 4 x USB 2.0 ports. It weighs 3.5kg and comes with a price tag of €1289.90.

Airis, a French electronics manufacturer, has just unveiled two new portable MP3 players, the N0041 (1GB) and N0042 (2GB). Along with the “nice name”, these DAPs offer a 1.5-inch LCD display, an integrated FM radio tuner with direct FM recording capability, and up to ten hours of continous usage on a single charge. Weighs at just 1.4-ounces and with 0.53-inches thickness, they support MP3/WMA audio playback, SMV video playback, and JPEG/BMP picture viewer. Airis claimed that both players will have a couple of extra features that Apple “forgot” to include on its iPod Nano.

Prices on the Airis N0041 and N0042 Portable MP3 Player start at $90, with a three-watt speaker system selling for $52 more.

Airis, a Spanish company, has just released two new PDAs, the T610 and T620. Both PDAs feature an integrated GPS receiver (SiRF Star III chipset), a 3.5-inch TFT touch screen display with 320×240 resolution and 65K colors with anti-reflective coating, SD/MMC memory card slot, Li-Ion battery, and Windows Mobile 2005 operating system. Weighs at just 170 grams, they are powered by Samsung’s 2440 400MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, and 128 of ROM. As for connectivity, both mobile devices support Bluetooth 2.0 and MiniUSB connection. Additionaly, the more advanced (and more expensive) T620 model also supports 802.11 b/g Wireless connectivity as well.
