I just knew that we can use Google search engine to search something and return only link from AdWords advertisers (Sponsored Links). Use this link to search for Sponsored Links on Google.

So what is it good for? Well, if you’re an AdSense publishers, and currently looking for profitable niche, this could be one of your weapon. The more advertisers you get from specific niche, the better. It’d be useless if you build a page for something that doesn’t have any advertisers at all.

Let’s take for an example: mesothelioma. Every AdSense publishers know that this is one of the hottest AdWords keyword outthere. How many advertisers we have for Mesothelioma? Only 17. Compare with affiliate keywords (and its combination). It has lower CPC than mesothelioma, but more than 100 advertisers are available. So which one do you think would be more profitable? :p

About 2 weeks ago, I recommended using AlternateURL to replace Google AdSense’s PSA. To refresh our memory, AlternateURL is an affiliate program that claimed to be made specially to replace AdSense’s PSA. By using given AlternateURL code in our AdSense ads alternate URL section, you won’t see the usual PSA, instead, you’ll get ads from AlternateURL. The same with AdSense, it’s a PPC ads. You get paid everytime someone click the ads. The minimum payout for AlternateURL is $50, and currently, it only pays via Paypal.

Today, I admit. I’ve made a mistake with the recommendation and I take it back. Using AlternateURL affiliate program is NOT recommended. I already remove it from some of my sites, and will soon dump it completely. I’m not doing this without reason. Here’s why:

AlternateURL is not a contextual ads. Ads is based on our site category that we choosed at the registration process. If we put our site into Technology category, we supposed to get ads related to Technology stuff. The fact, most of the time, AlternateURL shows ads that’s not related with our preferred category. Why would I want to display ads about Cialis or Phentermine in this non-medical site?

The CPC is really really bad. From about 200 clicks, I only got less than $1.5. Go figure the CPC yourself.

Let’s calculate it. $1.5 in 2 weeks, $3 in a month. Great, I’ll reach the $50 minimum payout in 16 month. But nope, I’ll pass.

Right now I’m using my own ads to replace the PSA. From the site stats, it seems to work quite well )

But for sure, AlternateURL sucks.

No, it’s not that much. I only earn less than $5 from the sales. But as people always say, the first experience is the greatest, right? :p

So, what is Amazon Associates? Here’s a quote from their site:

Starting in 1996, Amazon Associates program was the first online affiliate program of its kind. Today, it is the largest and most successful online affiliate program, with over 900,000 members joining world wide. If you are a Web site owner, Amazon seller, or Web Developer, you can start earning money today and earn up to 10% in referral fees.

Using Amazon Associates, you can simply ‘resell’ Amazon wide-range products, from hardware, software, books, VCD, DVD, and more. With their Product Link builder, making a link for any product to be displayed on your site is a fast and easy. You’ll earn up to 10% of each sales made from your link. Great, huh?

Anyway, thank you, thank you, and thank you

This is a quick article for all those who want to earn a decent amount of money with Google AdSense, but are not getting it “clicked”. Learn a simple strategy to boost your adsense income…

The Sensible Way To Earn Money With Google AdSense!
By Shrinivas Vaidya

Dear friends,

Google AdSense has rapidly gained a status of an independent online business model. Many average people with a little knowledge of HTML are earning a fortune with AdSense.

The AdSense comes under the category of “pay per click affiliate” programs. This means you get paid when someone click on the ad which resides on your website.

There are many reason for the success of the AdSense program. The very first reason is it is launched by Google, the leaders of Search Engines. After establishing themselves in the crowd of Search Engines they had a crown of credibility with them.

The second reason for the popularity lies in the fact that Google is not concerned about the amount of traffic you are getting to your website.

They are more concerned about content. If the content is really good your site will generate visitors over a period of time. This is unlike many other pay per click affiliate programs, which have a condition on the number of visitors you are getting per day, before your application gets approved.

This creates an interesting situation for online entrepreneurs. The more the traffic they generate to their site, the more is the possibility to get the AdSense ad clicked and they get paid.

Now Google also benefits from this. Since AdSense ads are nothing but the same ads from the Google AdWords account holders, Google charges the AdWords account holder of that particular ad which is being clicked and pays a small portion to the webmaster on whose website the AdSense ad resides.

The amount which Google charges the AdWords account holder and pays the AdSense account holder is determined entirely by the online popularity of the given “keyword” for which the ad was written by the AdWords account holder.

This is where the real opportunity has come up for online newcomers. Most people put a lot of energy in finding “high paying” keywords or simply purchase a database of “high paying keywords”, create a small website around the keyword, put AdSense code in it and start generating traffic which might click on the ad and expect to get paid high.

But here is the real kicker! The amount which you get paid is dependent of 5 different factors. Some of the factors are out of the control of the webmaster (you).

For example if a keyword phrase pays something around $14 to $15 per click. Most people think that even if they get a 1% click through rate, that is 1 person clicks out of 100 visiting their website, Google will put $14 in my account. Yes it’s true, but not always!

The amount which you get paid, depends on which ad gets shown on your website. The ad which gets shown on your website is dependent upon the relevancy and lot more other factors.

The true success with AdSense lies not on targeting only “high paying” keywords, but with focusing on creating highly informative content and getting repeat visitors. Google loves content. If you provide it on your website you will automatically get more visitors and increase the possibility of high click through rate which leads to more income to you and Google.

So, learn to build traffic first and then fine tune your website with AdSense script to start earning immediately. The true success with AdSense is with generating content rich pages and attracting traffic. “High paying keywords” is a secondary factor with AdSense
