Asus showcased its limited edition gaming laptop “G1S Crysis Special Edition” during World Game Master Tournament 2007 event in Korea. Powered by a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, the powerful 15.4-inch WSXGA (1680×1050) notebook PC features a 2GB of DDR2 main memory, a 160GB of 5,400rpm SATA HDD, a DVD burner, and a 256MB nVidia GeForce 8600M GT Core graphics engine that supports the latest DirectX 10 technology. Moreover, along with the cool Crysis artwork at its cover, the laptop also sports the ability to display new email arriving, schedule, MSN message notification and battery remaining time through a direct messenger window, even while playing the game.

Motorola showcased “Q9h” Smartphone during CTIA 2007 event. This thick and stylish Windows Mobile 6-based pda phone sports a quad-band GPRS/EDGE network support, a full-QWERTY keyboard, a large display, and Bluetooth connectivity (class 2). It also comes with an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, supported by a digital zoom function and LED photo indicator light, as well as video recording capability (@ 30fps). Other features include a microSD media card slot (up to 2GB supported), media player, Instant Messaging, and Windows Outlook Mobile.

Along with Pearl 8130 cell phone, Blackberry also displayed “8830 World Edition” Smartphone during CTIA 2007 event. This handset runs on both CDMA and GSM/GPRS networks, giving a wider option for mobility. As of features, it comes with a QWERTY keyboard, handy trackball, build-in media player, a 64MB of flash memory, microSD card slot, organizer, web browser, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 320×240 landscape display, and instant messaging support. 8830 World Edition is also equipped with GPS functionalities, supported by Blackberry Maps.

Nokia showcased its new N810 Internet Tablet during CTIA 2007 event. This portable device is the sucessor of Nokia N800 model and it sports an integrated GPS receiver, along with WiFI connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, full touchscreen-based browser with desktop-like experience, build-in FM transmitter, and a light-sensing screen dimmer. N810 will be retailed with a price tag of around $480.

Blackberry showcased “Pearl 8130″ smartphone during CTIA 2007 event in San Fransisco. This CDMA handset offers both powerful communications and rich multimedia capabilities on one single black-colored device. Regarding features, this GPS-enabled cell phone boasts a high-speed EvDO connectivity, QWERTY keyboard, unique trackball mouse, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, a 240×260 TFT LCD, Bluetooth 2.0, media player, and 64MB onboard memory with microSD card slot for external storage. Finally, its battery provides up to 3.5 hours of talktime and up to 9 days of standby time. Not bad.

LG Electronics is going to take participation on upcoming PT/Expo Comm China 2007 (China Expo), the largest IT show in China which will be held on Tuesday until Saturday. The company will use its 460-sq. m booth to showcase some of its state-of-the-art cell phones, including Viewty, Shine, and Chocolate series. LG will also show off its mobile TV and other third-generation handsets during that event.

The Viewty is LG’s cell phone with professional camera functionalities. It boasts a 5 megapixel camera module, Schneider Optics lens, image stabilizer, video recording capability @ 120fps, and both automatic and manual focus.

Haier showcased its new 14.1-inch laptop during KES 2007 event, the “S60″. Build on Intel’s Santa Rosa notebook PC platform, S60 offers an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an Intel GM965 + ICH8M chipset, up to 4GB of DDR2 main memory, and an integrated Intel GMA X3000 graphics engine. Measures 327 x 275 x 26 ~ 43.4mm and weighs 2.1kg (incl. 4-cell battery), the machine is also equipped with a WXGA Glare-type display, a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, a biometric fingerprint reader, Bluetooth connectivity, and a DVD SuperMulti burner. No words on availability and pricing.

Already satisfied with your 3G or HSDPA (3.5G) cell phone? Well, wait until you get your hand on WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access). This enhanced technology offers data access rate wayyyyy faster than HSDPA. The good news, you won’t have to wait very long until such WiMAX-ready handset exist, as KDDI Japan already developed one. Recently showcased during CEATEC 2007, the phone is called “AU” and it’s slated to be the first WiMAX-ready phone in the world. Or at least in Japan.

Samsung once again shown off its “Sens X22” laptop. This time during the recent KES 2007 event in Korea. The company is expected to release it in Korea market next month, with a suggested price between 1,800,000 (KRW) and 1,900,000 (KRW).
