Microsoft Released Patch for Windows Firewall

Microsoft WindowsMicrosoft has issued a patch to correct a bug in the Windows Firewall. The bug, which recently discovered, is about the exception which may not show up in the Windows Firewall graphical user interface when you create an exception by modifying the registry on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1).


“Install this update to ensure that a firewall exception created via the registry is listed in the Windows Firewall interface the same as if the exception was created in the interface itself. After you install this update, you may have to restart your computer.”
