Tekom rolled out its GX652 GPS digital camera at recently concluded CeBIT 2007, introducing users a standard 6-megapixel camera with 4.8x optical zoom, a 3" TFT LCD display, and MPEG 4 video recording in VGA quality at 30fps.

Tekom offers GX652, a common 6 megapixel digital camera. Smartly, to make it stand from the crowd, the company accompanies the cam with GX1, an external GPS receiver. By simply connecting the receiver to the camera through its standard 3.5mm jack, snapped photos will automatically have geo location tag / metadata added. Users can later view the result by uploading the photos to Google Eart software on their PC. Not much detail about the digicam, as for the receiver, it comes with 12-channels and powered by a 720mAh Lithium-Ion battery that provides the juice for up to 10 hours.
