Probably something like the Sony Qualia dunno what or the Sennheiser Orpheus (yours for something like $28000 :D). But I'd say the Koss KSC35, KSC50, KSC75, Porta Pro or Sporta Pro are pretty good for their money.

Sennheiser Orpheus -- $15000! Are they nice? Absolutely. Are they worth $15K -- I don't think I could justify that cost even if I were Bill Gates. In real life, I have two sets of cans I use: AKG K701 -- these just sound awesome to me.

Summary: For the price, Sennheiser has done a great headset providing very high-end sound quality for the price. Deep solid bass combined with generally an overall open and transparent sound makes it a great performer.

The Sennheiser's with the tube pre-amp were way cooler than this. I only really listen to music at home on my iPod and headphones and these seem like overkill. Having said that, I'd love a set of Sennheiser HD650s.
