Samsung reacts to the recent official release of Intel Santa Rosa platform by launching three new Santa Rosa-based laptops. First is the Sens R70 model. Measures 358 x 264 x 28.6mm and weighs 2.7kg, it sports an Intel Core2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz), a 1GB of main memory, a 120GB of SATA HDD, a 7.1-channel SRS 3D audio engine, and WiFI connectivity. Samsung unveiled NV11, a digital camera with an impressive Face Recognition technology. No detail about this function yet, but I supposed it will detect the object’s face and automatically focus the camera on it. Other nice features are the auto exposure and Samsung’s intuitive Smart Touch user interface which allows users to easily navigate and access the camera’s functionalities.
