Sony Ericsson will extend the range of their Walkman series phone with the new W302 model. Also known as “Feng”, the handset features an integrated 2 megapixel camera, a 176×220 display, and an impressive audio system just like the rest of Walkman mobile phones. Here’s the next Walkman from Sony Ericsson, the W990i model. It’s not under development yet (still a concept), but the specs make me drool (I’m a big fan of Sony Ericsson’s handset). See.. this sliding phone comes with a large 3.5-inch 16M colors touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera module with autofocus and 20x digital zoom, and HSDPA connectivity which gives you up to 3.6Mbps download speed (about 10x faster than 3G). You can also make a video call and your friend will be able to see your face via the phone’s secondary 1.3 megapixel camera on the front. This camera can be used to record your own movie as well.

Here’s a sneak peek of Sony Ericsson’s upcoming cell phone which supposed to be the successor of W810 and W850 Walkman, the W880 model. No rumor about the specs floating around yet, but from the picture you can see that there’s a secondary camera on the front so it should support 3G with video call/conference functions. It might have the same features as its big brother, W850, with the addition of HSDPA and 1GB Micro Memory Stick. If you plan to attend the 3GSM trade event later in February 2007, you’ll be able to see this W880 cell phone makes its debut.

There are some interesting news found at our sister site, MP3Magz, in the last few days. For example, the SS100 Digital Audio Player from Safa. Eventhough its front panel is different from iPod, but it has almost similar shape and size to iPod, so when you lay both of ‘em down, you probably won’t notice the different. I won’t recommend this portable player at all since it only supports MP3, AVI, JPEG, and TXT formats. Heck, I’m sure smart people like you don’t even need my recommendation to leave the SS100.
