Asus yesterday announced the release of the Vista Edition of M2N32-SLI Premium motherboard. Planned to hit the Korea market in early March, the mainboard is based on AMD processor and fully support the new Windows Vista operating system from Microsoft. Boasting a high-speed perfomance, thanks to the additional memory and ASAP (ASUS Accelerated Propeller) technology, it comes with a remote control in which users can remotely turn on/off their PC, as well as schedule various task or software to run automatically with a simple press of a button.

On its way to grab a little share on cell phone market pie, Asus, a popular motherboard manufacturer, has came up with a phone that looks like an iPod. The J206 cell phone has a slider mechanism and there’s a touch pad on the panel for quickly navigate and control the multimedia functions. To make it more comfortable for you, you don’t have to “press” the touch pad (and that’s why it’s called “touch” pad). Asus has built a sensor under the pad that detect heat from the hand. Once detected, the pad will do the appropriate action automatically. The company claimed that it have developed the technology used by the pad for a year on its research lab.
