Samsung has just launched their new SGH-E890 'Touch UI' handset in Singapore. The tri-band GSM handset also does GPRS and EDGE networks. The E890 has a 2.3-inch, 262k color QVGA (240x320), touch-screen display — there's no keypad.

Samsung SGH-E890 cell phone sports a 2.3-inch touch screen display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and some nice built-in touchscreen games. There’s a handy TV-out port as well, so you can enjoy the movie played by its built-in media player on a bigger TV screen. This handset is already available in Singapore for S$568 (US$361.37) without contract and S$468 (US$297.75) with a two-year mobile plan.
