It seems that Samsung D600 is not the only one who will get an upgrade. Pioneer Japan is also plan to revamp its PDP-425CMX Plasma TV by adding a new panel “P.U.R.E. Black Panel” and targetting businesses. The panel has a resolution of 1,024 x 768 dots and the brightness is improved to 1,400cd/m 2 by using a new technology. The contrast ratio is also pepped up to 3000:1 for optimum performance.

On Tuesday, Samsung Electronics said that they plan to release one of their worldwide best selling phones, the D600, in Korea. This black colored cell phone will be upgraded with additional DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) capability and will be released under SCH-B630 brand. Adding a DMB is a good move since Korean seems to love DMB gadgets. Well, infact, the DMB network is only available in Korea right now. The D600 cell phone itself has been sold over 2 milllions unit within only 2 months after it launched.
