Toshiba has introduced a new laptop that comes with Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Professional Edition preinstalled, the Dynabook Satellite T31. Somehow, Toshiba has heard the wishes of people who don’t like Vista. Why?

Somehow we missed the good news for Japan last week, because Toshiba has launched a new series of Dynabook Satellite laptops, named PXW. At the moment there are 2 models on the shelves, more specifically the 55GW and 57GW.

New Dynabook Satellite PXW/55GW comes jam packed with 15.4-inch LCD screen WXGA resolution (1280 x 800), 2GHz Intel Celeron 575, Intel GL40 Express chipset, 2GB memory (up to 4GB), 160GB of HDD, DVD Super Multi Drive.

Following the expansion of Dynabook SS line-up, Toshiba also lets the Satellite series grow by adding three new models - K11, K16, and J61 laptops. Both K11 and K16 notebooks come with an AMD Radeon Xpress 200M graphics engine, DVD drive, and a 15.4-inch 1280×800 LCD display. They are inside a 368 x 268 x 30mm’s hood that weighs 3kg and can withstand drop from up to 70cm heights. The difference is that the K16 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, while the K11 laptop gets the Celeron M430 CPU.
