I'm sure this must have been asked before so I will apologise but, after much reading of very helpful threads on this forum and TV viewing I still can'

I think I'am now tending towards the Panasonic plasma range, is the PZ range better than the PX range, my purchase choice is now the 42PZ85 is this Tv worth the extra money. How does it compare to the LCD 37LZD800 my original choice

Toying with a bigger screen than my 42" PX60 but will only be used for gaming. No TV or Movies whatsoever. I get the feeling they may suffer to badly with daily 5 hour stints of call of duty and image burn/retention as my PX60 does.

Three years ago the PX 60 was the best compromise between good HD (when there was little around) and acceptable SD. We could not find ANY LCDs that came close and were persuaded away to Plasma by direct experience and the need for good

I am in process of replacing my PX60, and looking both at LCD and plasma sets. Whenever I go into shops to look at some model, I get some unpleasant surprise from plasma sets (apart from Kuro ones, they look good on every material).

By incorporating the newly-developed phosphor material process technology and optical filter, the advanced plasma displays have extended the HDTV-standard colour gamut and cover almost the entire colour range currently used in digital

Personnaly i would buy Panasonic again as i feel they have a better picture than Samsung + from some posts on here until end of July 2007 you can still get a 5 year warranty with the tv thats piece of mind for 5 years.

although the th42px70 is not a true full hd 1080p tv, the onboard processors are so good that the differences may be less than you might imagine. as you’d expect from a quality plasma tv, the th42px70ped has a wide range of inputs.

Panasonic PX60 Plasma TV

Panasonic Japan has just introduced its three new PDP under the Viera Link range - the 50-inch TH-50PX60, 42-inch TH-42PX60, and 37-inch TH-37PX60 model. Respectively, these Plasma TVs offer a resolution of 1366×768, 1024×768, and 1024×720. Apart from the resolution, they share the same specs, which include a constrast ratio of 4000:1, a maximum ratio of 10000:1 in dark environment, built-in SD memory card slot, and 1080p remote control signal input. You can also display still images stored on the SD card on the TV. Their price is out of my reach, but your wallet probably fatter than me, so if you have between $2662 (300,000 Yen) and $4369 (500,000 Yen), you can take one of these Plasma TVs home.
