C.K. of GlovePie has successfully created the first functional Windows driver for Wiimote, Nintendo Wii’s revolutionary controller. Nintendo-fans, here’s the final specs of the upcoming Nintendo gaming console, the Wii. Formerly known as Nintendo Revolution, Wii features a four controller ports, a slot-loading disc drive, 512MB of flash memory and SD card slot for extra storage, two USB 2.0 ports, and WiFI connectivity. Planned to release in the last quarter of 2006, Nintendo Wii will be compatible with the GameCube and there’s a Virtual Console that lets gamers to download and play classic games titles from a wide-range of selection, including SNES, NES, N64, TurboGrafx 16, and Genesis games.
