Its probably one of the better BD players that can upconvert (besides the Smasung 1200/5000/2550 which have a REON chip and the LG 200 which has the QEDA). I personally never used my PS3 to play DVDs but never had any issues with it

That is a nice deal, but Best Buy just recently had the LG BH200 for $340 new in box and I believe that is even a better deal and I bought one. Best Buy.com appears now to be out of stock so it may not happen again, but other retailers
