Sony unveiled VAIO L VGC-LN70DB All-In-One Desktop PC during CEATEC 2008 event. This white-colored do-it-all computer is equipped with a 20.1-inch display and powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 processor, a 2GB of main memory, and a 500GB of hard drive. From the photos, it looks like VGC-LN70DB also comes with a slot-loading DVD drive, USB ports, audio ports, media card reader, and a nice-looking keyboard. It weighs 12.4kg and available immediately in Japan market.

Sony unveils the SSD (Solid State Disc) version of its VAIO UX Micro PC, the VAIO UX Premium. This UMPC comes with a 32GB flash memory-based drive which delivers up to 50 faster data access speed and lower power consumption than standard hard drive. Other features will be much the same as the original though, including an Intel Core Solo processor, WLAN and WAN connectivity, a 4.5 widescreen LCD display and full QWERTY keyboard.

Sony VAIO VGN-UX17LP Mobile Pocket PCAfter the VGN-UX50 model, Sony now presents another ultra-mobile pocket PC. Still under the VAIO U range, here’s the VGN-UX17LP model. Claimed as the world’s smallest and lightest PC, this mobile PC features an Intel Core Solo U1400 (1.2 GHz) processor, 512MB of RAM, 30GB of HDD, and 4.5-inch (1020×600) WSVGA Clear Bright LCD display. Like its big brother, the VGN-UX17LP will be packed with biometrics fingerprint sensor and integrated camera module as well. But instead of one, users will have two cameras which would be useful for doing video conference. Too bad there’s no detail about the camera’s sensor quality.
