LG Electronics Japan officially announced the release of their two new LCD monitors, the 20-inch L206WU-PF and 25.5-inch W2600-PF. The W2600-PF model (picture above) boasts a full HD WSXGA+ resolution (1920×1200), a response time of 5ms, and a host of interfaces (HDMI/DVI-D/RGB/USB 2.0); while the L206WU-PF display (picture below) sports a 1680×1050 WSXGA+ resolution, a response time of 2ms, and the same array of interfaces.

Acer unveiled P244W, the world’s first 24-inch LCD monitor with Full HD resolution. With support for 16:9 ratio widescreen and real 1080p content playback, this monitor guarantees an impressive image quality. Features include a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1, a resolution of 1920 x 1080,a response time of 2ms (gray-to-gray), and HDMI interface. No words on pricing and availability at the moment.

Chaintech presented four new entry-level LCD monitors under its “HANNS G” series in Korea market. All of them adopted HannStar’s LCD panel. The first two displays have 19-inch width screen (one standard and other in widescreen mode) and feature a brightness of 300cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 700:1, and a response time of 5ms. Both also come with D-Sub input port and a build-in speakers.

Eizo presented two new FlexScan LCD monitors, both designed with CAD and graphics design in mind, “FlexScan SX2461W” and “FlexScan SX2761W”. The former sports a 24.1-inch screen, a brightness of 320cd/m2, a resolution of 1920×1200 (WUXGA), and a contrast ratio of 850:1; while the latter offers a larger 27-inch display, a brightness of 300cd/m2, and the same contrast ratio and screen resolution. Moreover, these two displays, respectively retailed for €837 and €1080 in Japan market, also comes with a DVI-I and D-Sub inputs, as well as several USB ports.
