Here’s a 52-inch HD-ready LCD TV from Sony that is slated to release in September, “Bravia KDL-52XBR”. It is capable of displaying 1080 Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with over 2 million pixels on the screen. Thanks to the company’s BRAVIA Engine PRO, everything from standard definition and high definition wil be upconverted to 1080p for a realistic viewing experience. This new engine also incorporates Digital Reality Creation Multi-function (DRC-MF) v2.5 circuit which is able to process interlace and progressive video signals.

I-O Data launched its newest LCD monitor, the 24-inch LCD-MF241XBR series. The display comes with 2 HDMI port, so if you own PS3 or XBox 360 Elite, you can pair them with the LCD. Other noteworthy features include a resolution of 1920×1200, three USB2.0 ports, HDCP, 1080p support, and S-Video. Sony has just officially announced (check out the press release on the next page) the new member of its VAIO series laptop, the VAIO AR. This is the first notebook PC in the world that comes with built-in support for High-Definition Blu-Ray media, thus allowing users to watch movies in full 1080p HD resolution. This wonderful capability is supported by the 17-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) widescreen display with Sony’s XBrite Hi-Color LCD technology and 256MB nVidia GeForce Go 7600 graphics engine. If not satisfied, users would also be able to display their movies on their own HDTV, thanks to the included HDMI connector.
