A Korea-based company named 10×10 created a unique iPod dock which looks exactly like a Lego block. Priced at just 14,500 KRW (around $16), the block (named BB) comes with built-in stereo speakers and an internal power source (using battery?). It measures 6 x 1.5 x 2.5cm and compatible with iPod Mini, iPod Nano (up to 2nd generation), and iPod (up to 5th generation).

Apple Introduces iPod Touch and 3G iPod Nano in Korea Market

Apple recently announced the launch of new “iPod Touch” and 3G-version of “iPod Nano” in Korea market. Measures 110 x 61.8 x 8mm and weighs at just 120 grams, iPod Touch features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, built-in WiFI connectivity, and YouTube playback. Of course, all the standard iPod functions are supported as well. As for playback, it provides up to 22 hours of music and up to 5 hours of video. iPod Touch is expected to hit the shelves by the end of September with a suggested price of 324,000 (KRW) for 8GB version and 434,000 (KRW) for 16GB version.

Samsung and Apple Doing Unfair Trading Service?

iPodAccording to MacWorld, Apple Computer and Samsung could be investigated by South Korea’s anti-trust regulator on Friday regarding the issue of unfair trading practises between the two companies. Fair Trade Commission (FTC) Chairman Kang Chul-kyu reportedly stated on a radio show that he might investigate the companies after reports that Samsung sold its NAND flash memory chips to Apple Computer Inc. at below-market prices, according to a report by Yonhap News.

The rumour has been around fo a while, saying that Samsung have sold a significant amount of its production to Apple at a discounted rate for the launch of the iPod nano.

There’ no words from Apple representatives yet.
