What's better than toast? Digital toast. Inseq Design's Zuse Toaster "prints" rad pixelated images onto your bread. Hungry yet? Inspired by a dot matrix printer (I can totally hear the errrrmp, beeeeeep noises!), the Zuse burns 12 by 12

If the Zuse Dot Matrix Toaster develops amnesia or even minimal memory loss, results could be disastrous. There is no need, however, to be pessimistic about the Zuse Dot Matrix Toaster. According to Charles Eames of Inseq Design,

Inseq Design wants you to have fun with your food. To that end, they're working on a toaster that'll put old fashioned dot matrix images on your toast. Remember the old printers, or video games? Yeah, something like that.

Zuse Toaster Printer Images

Jokob Illera of Inseq Design has created an interesting toaster called Zuse as his diploma project at Vienna’s University for Applied Art. While the Zuse is an unordinary toaster, it lets you burn custom logos or messages on your bread at a size of 12×12 pixels. Definitely, this would be a nice and fun kitchen tool that will cheer up your family in the morning. And at an affordable $50 price tag, it’s irressistable. However, don’t expect the Zuse to print the images in color or 720dpi though.
