ECS G10IL is the new mini laptop from Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS). Powered by an Intel Atom processor, this 10-inch notebook PC is scheduled to hit the US market in September, according to Henry Kwan, the company’s vice president of sales. NEC unveiled two new network-ready video projectors, the NP905 and NP01W. Priced respectively at €1,285 ($1,999) and €835 ($1,299), both devices support Windows Vista’s Windows Network Projector functionality, thus enabling users to share information from their laptops or desktops via a wired or wireless network without the need for proprietary software. Moreover, remote desktop connection enables these projectors to connect to a networked computer remotely, allowing complete control of the remote computer with the connection of a USB mouse and keyboard directly to the projector’s USB input.
