From JVC’s booth, check out the new Everio HD camcorder with a generous 60GB HDD. Previously unveiled during CEATEC 2006 show, this recorder offers a full HD resolution at 1920×1080i with a 30Mbps VBR, a 3CCD technology, a 10x optical zoom, a 16:9 ratio widescreen display, and AVCHD codec. It will be released in April with price tag of $1,800.

JVC Everio GZ-MG47 Camcorder

Along with the Everio GZ-MG505, JVC also announce the their plan to release another Everio camcorder, the GZ-MG47, in early July. I can’t fully understand the translation, but as far as I can, this HDD-based camcorder will come with 20GB of HDD that capable of holding 4 hours and 50 minutes of DVD-quality recording, F1.2 lense, and 15x optical zoom. However, no 3CCD sensor will be found on this compact and portable handycam.

JVC Everio GZ-MG505 Camcorder

JVC Everio GZ-MG505 CamcorderJVC recently announce the new camcorder under the Everio range, the GZ-MG505 model. The HDD-based handycam features a 1.8-inch 30GB of HDD that lets you create up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of video recording, a 1.33 megapixel 3CCD sensor, and two color variants - clear silver and solid black. The movie will be recorder in MPEG2 format, however, according to AkihabaraNews, it won’t be compatible with any video software outthere, and you have to convert it with the software supplied with the camcorder.

New HDD-Based Camcorders From JVC

JVC Everio HDD-based CamcorderJVC recently announced the release of two new members of their Everio camcorder series, the GZ-MG77 and GZ-MG67 model. These HDD-based camcorders feature a 1/3.9 2.28 megapixel CCD sensor, 10x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD control screen, and MPEG2 video recording. Both also measure 68 x 109 x 68 mm and weighs 370 grams. The only different is that the MG77 comes with 30GB storage capacity, while the other one - MG67 - has 20GB capacity.
