Gigabyte has launched a new high specs Laptop in Korea. The new “W251U” comes with a 12.1 inch screen, 1.85kg and price tagged at 926000원(KRW) which is around US$1010. It is available in the G-Style online store in Korea.

Gigabyte comes out with a nice concept, a UMPC with a sliding keyboard like those usually found on PDA or smartphone devices. Called “Gigabyte M704″, this compact 7-inches machine boasts a 1.2GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor, VIA VX-700 UniChrome Pro Core chipset, a 768MB of DDR2 main memory, and a 1.8-inches 40GB hard drive (or 60GB if you like). Moreover, measures 190 x 121 x 30mm and weighs 780 grams, it is also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel CMOS webcam, WiFI connectivity, and a 1024×768 (WVGA) TFT LCD monitor with LED backlight. The battery itself lasts for up to 3 hours.
