GM, please give us proper GPS navigation with a map screen. Even as an option. Please. The headrests were canted too far forward on the seats for our liking. You have to use the button on the keyfob to unlock the trunk.

Did anyone hardwire their portable gps unit to the driver side fuse box to free up the power outlet? If so - post pics/details.

It has memory for 2GB SD Card with Preloaded mpas. Like another device, it has text to speech and Voice command. You can buy it at Amazon for $351.00

Toshiba recently announced the official release date for its brand new PDA smartphone, the Portege G810. Like its siblings, Portege G710 and G910 models, this handset is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and supports the high-speed HSDPA and HSUPA connectivities. Moreover, it also features a 2.83-inch QVGA (320×240) touchscreen display, an integrated 3 megapixel camera module, a Bluetooth v2.0, a USB 2.0 interface, WiFI, built-in FM radio tuner with RDS and GPS / A-GPS receiver, and microSD media card slot (up to 4GB supported). No words on pricing though.

Displayed during CES 2007 show in Las Vegas, the device features a door-to-door voice guidance, automatic re-route calculation, multiple-destination trips planning, and TMC receiver for real-time traffic information. Specs-wise, it is powered by a Samsung processor, a 64MB SDRAM, a 3.5-inch color touchscreen display, a SD card slot, and Windows CE.Net operating system. A rechargeable Li-Ion battery, along with built-in speaker and standard headphon jack, is included as well.
