Fujitsu Siemens proudly showcased its new AMILO series ultra-compact notebook, the AMILO Mini UI 3250. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics engine, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 250GB of HDD. Fujitsu’s compact tablet PC is already on my shopping list since two years ago, but when the time arrived to buy a new laptop, my savings always wasn’t enough to buy the one from Fujitsu. Pity. I really hope this year I’ll finally able to purchase any Fujitsu Lifebook series tablet PC. This Centrino 2-based Lifebook T5010 for example.

The new Finepix Z20 digital camera from Fujitsu is so cool that it’d make social network lovers drool. Why? Because the company has built a social network community — based on Ning — for Z20 owners called ZSpotNow.com. On that site, people can join the currently-running Z20 logo design contest, video-making contest, or the pro skating competition. The site sounds good, but unfortunately, the camera itself only has Bluetooth connectivity, which means you still have to manually transfer the photos / videos to your PC and upload them to ZSpotNow. If only Z20 comes with built-in WiFI capability…
