Check out this cool tent that is equipped with a solar panel and integrated interior LED lights. Yes, this is a solar-powered tent which is quite handy if you want to go on an outdoor trip during this summer holiday season. Not just it’d provde up to 4 hours of light inside the tent per full single charge (approx. 4-6 hours of direct light), it also comes with a removable hand-held flashlight. The solar panel itself, width 7-inch, is placed on the top of the tent’s hub and clicked into place. The fly is then placed on top of solar panel and tent, and sun will charge the panel through the clear PVC window at the top of the fly. If needed, the panel can be used independently to charge your batteries.

Made of petroleum-based materials (PVC and nylon), the solar-powered tent is developed by Woods and named as EZ-Tent. Two version are currently available – the $180 (CAD) 4-person tent that measures 9 x 7 x 55-inches and the $220 (CAD) 6-person one with 11.5 x 9 x 67-inches in dimensions.
