USB Phones Stock Sold Out in Taiwan

IPEVO free-1 USB phone for SkypeIPEVO, one of the USB phone developer, makes their big hit in Taiwan. Their USB phone product, Free-1 USB Phone for Skype, was sold out only within 50 hours after they launched it on 12 September 2005.

Free-1 USB Phone for Skype is a cheap and simple USB phone, but has everything you need to do voice / internet call through Skype. As I already mention on my previous post, the phone has three special function buttons: to launch Skype on PC; to make a phone call (SkypeOut); and to access instant messenger. There are also another three user-programmable shortcut buttons for changing online status or setting the ring tone.

Skype is a free VoIP internet phone and instant messenger software from

According to IPEVO, another batch of the USB phones is ready, and will be sold from FNAC bookstores in Taipei starting from Saturday.
