Two New Projection HDTV From Epson – ELS-55GL1 and ELS-65GL1

Epson has two new babies, the LivingStation ELS-65GL1 and ELS-55GL1 Projection HDTVs. As you might already notice from the product number, the ELS-65GL1 has 65-inch wide screen, while the other one comes with a 55-inch display. Price respectively are 598,000 Yen ($5,235) and 498,000 Yen ($4,360). Both HDTVs feature Onkyo’s sound system, 30W Takaide digital power amplifier, 5cm tweeter, SRS TruSurround XT, 2-channel stereo system, 5.1-channel playback, SRS Dialog Clarity, and SRS TruBass. With all of those excellent features, they’d surely deliver a wonderful true sound experience for your home theater. And speaking about theater, the TV also comes with four sound modes – Theater mode, music mode, live mode and normal mode.
Other features include a contrast ratio 6,000:1, a terrestrial degree of /BS/110 CS digital tuner, terrestrial analog tuner, HDMI interface, VGA interface, USB port for a printer, and a memory card slot. Not sure about music, but these projection HDTVs can also display your photo collection directly from the memory card.
