Here’s the fifth computer from Sotec that is included on its Summer Sale promotion, the DS3000-A PC Station. Priced at just 39,900 Yen, this PC comes with a 512MB of RAM which is twice of its original version (256MB). On the inside, it is powered by Intel Celeron D 341 (2.93GHz) processor, SiS M661FX and 964L chipset, and 40GB of HDD. While on the surface, measures 95 x 325 x 430 mm and weighs 7.5kg, this PC offers a DVD/CDRW combo drive, memory card reader (Memory Stick/Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD/MMC, CompactFlash I/II), USB ports, Ethernet LAN interface, speaker and microphone jack, as well as analog and mini D-Sub terminal. Users may choose whether they want Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Professional Edition operating system pre-installed on the system.
