Panasonic’s 103-inch Full HD Plasma TV Goes On Sale

Panasonic Full HD Plasma TV

Panasonic USA yesterday (July 10th) announced that it will start accepting orders for its 103-inch wide’s world’s largest full HD plasma TV. This HDTV was first displayed at CES 2006 in January and features a contrast ratio of 3000:1, 1920×1080 (1080p) HD resolution support, and 3.8-inch pixel pitch. It measures 2269.4 x 1276.6 mm with 2603 mm diagonal.

The company hasn’t reveal the exact price and availability yet, but according to it, demand for such super large displays is very high in the US. The first retail phase will deliver 5000 units of this HD-ready Plasma TVs and distribute them worldwide – 50% in Nort America, 20% in Europe, and 30% in Asia.
