Along with the Blu-Ray player, Panasonic also releases its first Blu-Ray Disc Receiver, the SA-XR700 model. Designed to deliver superb sound quality for a dramatic and immersive home theater listening experience, this electronics device offers three HDMI connections (1-in and 2-out interfaces), a full Full-Digital Amplifier and Advanced Dual Amplifier which supports up to 7.1 channels. Furthermore, its powerful stereo mode provides 100w/channel (20 kHz, 6 ohms, 0.09% THD) and a 192 kHz/24-bit Audio A/D Converter for Analog Input. This Blu-Ray Disc Receiver itself is XM Satellite ready – means you can listen to XM radio satelite broadcast – and comes with a gold plated terminals for maximum performance.
SA-XR700 Blu-Ray Disc Receiver is planned to the Japanese market in September 2006 for $999.95.
