Here comes G24, the first LCD monitor in the world that has 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Introduced by Acer recently, this new 24-inch widescreen display features a resolution of 1920×1200, a response time of 2ms, and a brightness of 400cd/m2. It incorporates Acer CrystalBrite technology, guarantee a clear and bright image on the screen, as well as Acer OD (overdrive) technology that significantly improves gray-to-gray levels by reducing deviation in transition time. Moreover, G24 also comes with a HDMI interface and Acer eColor Management that lets you configure color parameters easily and avoid ambient light reflection.

Dresses in an impressive orange black color, Acer G24 LCD monitor is perfect for serious gamers or image designer. But if you’re more into the former, the company recommends Acer Aspire Predator desktop PC for the monitor’s companion. We’ll cover that machine later.

Excerpt from the press release:

The eye-catching exterior of the G24 with solid angled surfaces makes an immediate impression, while satisfying PC gamers’ needs and imagination. For a complete gaming package, the G24 and the Aspire Predator desktop PC are both painted with uncompromising metallic copper and feature deeply carved line design elements. Blue rays of light emanate from the power button of the LCD and desktop to exude a polished, powerful look.
