del.icio.us is one of the most popular social bookmarking service. Social bookmarking, according to Wikipedia, is an online service genre that allows users to save and categorize (see folksonomy) a personal collection of bookmarks. Distinct in that others may see the bookmarks that have been saved by others and add them to their own collection, as well as to subscribe to the lists of others.
Revealicious is a wonderful tool that will change they way you’re using del.icio.us. It is a set of graphic visualisations for your del.icio.us account that allow you to browse, search and select tags, as well as viewing posts matching them. Revealicious using Flash to give interactive interface to user.
There are three different Revealicious interface you can try:
- SpaceNav, which allows you to explore the structure of your tags in a rather recreative manner.
- TagsCloud, which is an interactive and enhanced version of the tagscloud available in del.icio.us
- Grouper, which is an experimental interface for grouping and working with tags.
