Slingbox 2006In late August, I’ve wrote about Slingbox. This device lets you access your home TV set from anywhere at anytime. It transfers your TV signal to any computer or laptop with a broadband internet connection. In other words, the Slingbox enables you to watch your TV programming from wherever you are by turning virtually any Internet-connected PC into your personal TV. Whether you’re in another room or in another country, you’ll always have access to your television, as long as both your computer and home TV have internet connection.

Today, Sling Media, the company who brought SlingBox, announced that a new and improved version of Slingbox will be displayed at CES 2006. It’s going to use a new technology provided by Philips.

Not much detail about the new Slingbox yet. Let’s just keep our eyes open..
