Let’s give our big applause to Navicore for its record-breaking success yesterday. The company has just managed to develop the world’s smallest bluetooth GPS receiver (or so it claimed) at just 64 x 22 x 15mm in dimensions. Weighs 30 grams, this small device is a perfect navigation solution for mobile devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, laptops, etc. It is powered by the highly accurate SiRF Star III GPS chipset and comes with a rechargable battery which delivers up to 8 hours of usage on a single charge. Recharged can be done easily using USB connection or car’s cigarette lighter outlet.

The world’s smallest claims probably just a marketing gimmick, but at least Navicore’s Bluetooth GPS Receiver does have a small form-factor, so don’t take the claim seriously, ‘kay?
