Sledgehammer Keyboard

Sledgehammer KeyboardThis keyboard probably good for those workers to relief their stress. Instead of using your fingers to type, you have to use a sledgehammer to punch the keyboard’s keys. And yes, it’s a big keyboard, not that small one you used to have on your office or your home.

The Sledgehammer Keyboard is designed by Taylor Hokanson, an artist from Chicago. It is now being exhibited by Temporary Services, the art group behind the amazing Prisoners’ Inventions project from a few years ago, at their Chicago experimental art/culture space Mess Hall on Saturday and Sunday.

Users will be able to try it out for the first time this coming weekend during a street fair that’s happening outside of Mess Hall. You slam your message into the keys, and your message is projected into our space.“, said Salem Collu-Julin, Temporary Services’ member.
