FogScreen – The Air Projector

Sponsored Links

FogScreen - The Air ProjectorFogScreen is the new projector’s technology that enable the projection of high-quality images in the air. Currently, it is the only available walk-through projection screen. You can also use the air as your user interface, simply by touching the air with your barehand. Writing and drawing can be done in the air. Just like what you’ve seen in the science fiction movie.

The screen is created by using a suspended fog generating device with no frame around, and works with video projectors. The fog they use is dry, so it doesn’t make you wet even if you stay under the FogScreen device for a long time. The fog is made of ordinary water with no chemicals whatsoever. After the screen is formed, images can be projected onto it. The screen can be translucent or fully opaque.

The FogScreen works very much like an ordinary screen in terms of projection properties. It can be used for both back- and front-projection. With two projectors, you can project different images on both sides of the screen.

This was a very good article, you really seem to know about the effect of FogScreen in many people. However, it seems that it is being used in China under the name FuturaScreen, similar effects, similar products but a complete different name and of course it is cheaper around a half or a third of the price.
I have seen a guy in that company natan@futuraconcept.com is advertising this product under that name. I would be interested in getting one from them, however, before that, I have a couple of doubts:
Does anyone know about that person or that company? Is that completely legal?
    Thank you
