EVC WMV9HD-Compatible Video Capture CardEVC have a video capture card that is WMV9HD compatible and offers real-time encoding at 30fps and 1920×1080 resolution. The SMPTE VC-1 Fathon model features live streaming (thanks to that real-time encoding), semaphone video analysis software, “Seen by Scene” segmented encoder, multiple pass encoding acceleration, automatic encoding function, and more. I’m not a video expert guy, so I honestly tell you that I don’t know what the hell are those features about, so just head over to their site and check out the detail (if you understand the translation though).

The EVC SMPTE VC-1 Fathon Video Capture card uses PCI slot and requires a Pentium 4 3.4Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, 50MB disk space, and Windows (XP Pro SP2, 2000, Server 2003). The disk space requirement is fine, but the gigantic 1GB memory is a “wow” for me…
